ALOGUINSAN

 
 

A former barrio of Pinamungajan that was created as a town in 1886 under the virtue of Royal Decree of the King of Spain.  The main occupation in the municipality are fishing and farming with coconuts, banana, corn and fruits are its principal products.  This 5th class municipality is located approximately 73.3kms in the Southwest part of Cebu City.  Aloguinsan belongs to a third type of climate, which is characterized as moderate shower, and alert period of dry season.  The province has lots to offer from historical landmarks to breathtaking sights.
