It was said that this structure was once a school edifice for the children of church workers. However, in the year 1962 it was burned on fire and was reconstructed in 1983 as a municipal courthouse. Furthermore, Argao’s Hall of Justice and Plaza served as a barrack during World War II. Recently, through the efforts of former Supreme Court Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr. the structure was rehabilitated. |
