No need to secure an entry visa if you are classified as a non-restricted national and your country has diplomatic ties/bilateral agreement with the Philippines. You may visit Philippine Bureau of Immigration site (http://immigration.gov.ph) for the country listings. Non-restricted nationals may stay for a period not exceeding twenty-one (21) days, provided they hold a valid return ticket to the port of origin or to the next port of destination.Immigration regulations require that the passports are valid for a period of not less than six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay. But at the discretion of Immigration Officers at the port entry, they may admit passport holders valid for at least sixty (60) days beyond the intended period of stay.When you plan to stay more than twenty-one (21) days you must personally or through any accredited travel agency or law firm report to the Bureau of Immigration main office or any of its provincial headquarters and file for visa extension.The authorities of Philippine Immigration have the right to subject fines and detention to the following people who overstay their visas.A Passenger Service charge in Philippine peso will be charged to the travelers leaving the country for international airports.For unaccompanied minors, special requirements are needed. This is done to prevent international abductions. A waiver of exclusion which the Philippine government requires should be obtained either in the Philippine Embassy, Consulate or Immigration Bureau and Detention in Manila for a child under 15 years old who wish entry to the Philippines without any company either parents or legal guardians. Additionally, to provide more evidence the child must have an authentic documentation of legal permission from his parents or legal guardians.Nationals with the following passports are allowed entry without a visa for a stay of not more than seven (7) days.
- Holders of Hongkong Special Administrative Region (SAR) passportsHolders of British National Overseas (BNO) passports.Holders of Macau-Portuguese passports
- Holders of Macau Special Administrative Region (SAR) passports.
