Pinoy Big Brother – is the Philippine edition of Big Brother, a reality television show. It follows an identical principle with Big Brother: 12 filipinos are coerce to live together in a house for 100 days. At the beginning of the elimination procedure the “housemates” would vote for fellow housemate that they should eliminate. The viewers then vote on which nominee they wanted to stay on longer in the Big Brother house. The housemate having the smallest vote will get eliminated. In its final week, the housemate who has the most number of votes will win the grand reward package worth six million pesos ($111,000) all in all. Other essentials are also present like the daily and weekly challenges, the voice known as “Big Brother” sometimes referred to as “Kuya”, and the confessional room. |
