ALOGUINSAN |

A former barrio of Pinamungajan that was created as a town in 1886 under the virtue of Royal Decree of the King of Spain. The main occupation in the municipality are fishing and farming with coconuts, banana, corn and fruits are its principal products. This 5th class municipality is located approximately 73.3kms in the Southwest part of Cebu City. |

ASTURIAS |

Bounded by the Municipality of Tuburan on the north; Balamban in the south; City of Danao on the east and on the west by Tañon Strait. The town’s original name is “Naghalin” which is derived from the Cebuano term “lalin” that refers to early settlers that came from far away places. |

The municipality got its name from the prevalence of springs that were used by early inhabitants as their source of potable water in their household use. Tuburan was founded in 1851 by Don Mariano Montebon who hailed from the Municipality of Sogod, Cebu. |

Located approximately 60.2kms southwest of Cebu City with a total land area of 11, 518 hectares. It is composed of 42 barangays wherein farming and livestock raising are the major occupations of the people. Barili got its name from a local grass name called balili. It was founded as a municipality in 1632 although the parish was already been established in 1614. |

This 4th class municipality was founded in 1816 and is bounded by Municipality of Aloguinsan on the South; Toledo City on the North; Municipality of Naga on the East and Tanon Strait on the West. It is roughly 65kms away from Southeast of the Queen City of the South.
